William Julien, MD

William Julien, MD, is a board-certified vascular interventional physician and the practice president at South Florida Vascular Associates.

Dr. Julien earned his medical degree at the Washington University School of Medicine (WashU Med) in St. Louis, Missouri, and then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. He also completed fellowship training in interventional radiology through the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Kendall, Florida.

Dr. Julien is board-certified through the American Board of Radiology (ABR) with additional qualifications in interventional radiology. He’s a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the Council on Cardiovascular Radiology for the American Heart Association (CVRI). He also serves on the Practice Affairs Committee of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).

He is regularly involved in device trials and is an in-demand speaker at national endovascular meetings. Thanks to his specialized experience and skills, Dr. Julien treats most patients in the sophisticated endovascular surgery suite at South Florida Vascular Associates. This specialized surgery suite is one of the first of its kind in the United States.

Dr. Julien designed South Florida Vascular Associates to be an industry-leading practice that serves a wide range of interventional radiology needs. He’s proud to serve patient needs while keeping them out of the hospital.
